Jharkhand all set to host 11th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2021

The 11th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship is going to start within a week as the wait is finally over for Indian women players to shine on field.
Hockey Jharkhand has moved heaven and earth to guarantee the tranquil arrangement of the Championships. It will be held between 20th October to 29th October, 2021 in Simdega. The youngsters of India have got a golden chance to prove their talent and potential in front of selectors. The winning players will get a position in junior women team oh Hockey India National Program.
Simdega, well-known for home of numerous hockey stars, is going to witness 500 players, over 27 teams with coaches and supporting staffs will arrive this week for annual tournament.
The participation teams are Pool A (Hockey Jharkhand, Kerala Hockey and Hockey Tamil Nadu), Pool B (Hockey Haryana, Assam Hockey, Hockey Rajasthan), Pool C (Hockey Mizoram, Hockey Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Hockey), Pool D ( Uttar Pradesh Hockey, Hockey Uttarakhand and Manipur Hockey), Pool E (Hockey Maharashtra, Delhi Hockey and Hockey Gujarat), Pool F (Hockey Chandigarh, Hockey Bihar, Goa Hockey, Hockey Jammu & Kashmir), Pool G (Odisha, Chhattisgarh Hockey, Hockey Himachal and Hockey Madhya Pradesh) and Pool H (Hockey Karnataka, Hockey Punjab, Hockey Bengal and Puducherry Hockey)
The quarter- finals will be scheduled on October 26, the semi-finals will be played on October 28 and the final matches will played on October 29 after the six days of pool matches.
Bijay Shankar Singh, Hockey Jharkhand's Organising Secretary says, “We are very happy that Hockey India has given us the opportunity to host the 11th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2021. We have received great support from the District Administration Simdega, the Government of Jharkhand to host this tournament and the SOPs provided by Hockey India. It gives us a clear understanding of what needs to be done as organisers”. He stated, “Apart from Hockey India SOPs, we will be adhering to guidelines by the Ministry of Home Affairs as well as the Government of Jharkhand. We look forward to hosting a successful event”.
