Jayanti Ganguly Appointed CEO Of Home Centre

Home Centre India has named Jayanti Ganguly as Chief Executive Officer, in a leadership change as the brand continues to expand in India's home retail market.

She opened up about her appointment through her LinkedIn post saying, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as CEO at Home centre India”

Jayanti has over 20 years of experience in e-commerce and retail, having worked in leadership capacities at Myntra, Flipkart, and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail.

Her background involves experience in scaling companies, enhancing profitability, and creating consumer-centric organizations.

She was working with Myntra for three years, driving business turnaround and increasing market share, in addition to international expansion, marketplace profitability, and omni-channel initiatives.

In Flipkart Wholesale, she headed the Fashion and Home portfolio, driving sourcing strategies, sales technology initiatives, and category development.

She replaces Sitaram Kumar, who joined Home Centre in 2005. Sitaram played a significant role in taking the brand's national reach and omni-channel capacities to the next level and consolidating its consumer relations.

Jayanti said that the company will be concentrating on intensifying its relationship with Indian consumers and transforming the manner in which homes are styled and lived.

Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd Managing Director Shital Mehta averred that Jayanti's strategic and operational acumen would craft Home Centre's destiny as India's home and lifestyle market keeps expanding.
