Infosys Encourages Women's Workforce Reentry with Referral Reward

Infosys has launched a referral incentive scheme for employees who refer women professionals on a career break and want to return to the workforce.
As per an internal message, the employees at job levels 3-6 (mid to senior) are qualified to receive bonuses between ₹10,000 and ₹50,000, based on the job role. The incentives will be given on the successful completion of the referred position.
To be eligible, candidates need at least two years of previous work experience and a minimum of six months of career break.
The program, which is under the company's Restart with Infosys initiative, is designed to enable women coming back to work. Hiring covers across various fields such as Selenium testing, Java, Oracle, Salesforce, and other technologies.
Infosys CHRO Shaji Mathew stated the initiative represents the company's wider diversity and ESG objectives, pointing out that the initiative facilitated the recruitment of more than 900 women at mid-management positions during 2024-25 and 500 women in 2023-24. He termed it a step towards inclusion in the industry.
Women now represent 39 percent of Infosys' workforce of 323,000, and by 2030, the company intends to increase this percentage to 45 percent. The firm employed more than 15,000 college graduates in the previous financial year.
