Indian Women's Team Loses to The Netherlands in Finalof the U23 5 Nations Hockey Tournament

The Indian junior women’s hockey team lost by 1-4 to to the Netherlands in the final of the U23 5 Nations Hockey Tournament held on Sunday.
India’s sole goal came from Beauty Dungdung (29th min). From the other side Belen Van Der Broek (26th min), Amber Brouwer (31st min), Emma Santbrink (53rd min), and SanneHak (55th min) scored their respective goals to bring the winning crown to the Netherlands.
Indian was put under early pressure as the Netherlands earnedtheir first penalty corner within minutes of the game beginning but were thwarted by the Indian defense.
India earned their first PC of the match in the first quarter but could not convert it. Both sides then increased their attacks in pursuit of their first goal but were unsuccessful by the end of the first quarter.
India then went on the offensive in the second quarter and was rewarded for it, winning their second PC in 10 minutes.
Belen Van Der Broekfrom The Netherlands scored on a PC in the 26th minute. Beauty Dungdungthen equaled the score in the 29th minute. A minute later, the Netherlands got another PC, which was converted by Amber Brouwer converted.
In the third quarter the Dutch won another PC. However, the Indian team successfully stopped them from converting it.
The Netherlands team began the last quarter of the game on the offensive despite of being in the lead. They earned their first PC in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter. India then launched a counterattack and was able to win a PC. However, the team in clue was unable to tie the game because they failed to convert the PC. Emma Santbrinkthen scored the third goal for the Netherlands in the 53rd minute, and in the next two minutesSanneHakscored the last goal of the match to take the game away from India.
