The Indian women's football team played with host Jordan. The match ended in a goalless draw. This match was the second of the two friendly matches to be played between the two teams at the Petra Stadium in Amman.
In the previous match India had suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Jordanian team.
These said matches were played as part of India's preparations for the upcoming AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifiers for Paris 2024 in the Kyrgyz Republic. The event will be conducted next month.
India’s head coach Thomas Dennerby rotated all players during the two matches in order to prepare them all for the upcoming Kyrgyz Republic campaign.

The Indian women’s football team will leave to Uzbekistan for more preparatory matches.
