Tata WPL 2023: Splendid 4 wickets win by Mumbai Indians over RCB

The Tata WPL 2023 Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians: The 1st match of the last double headers in the inaugural Tata Women’s Premier League was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. Team blue achieved a 4-wicket victory against RCB in the 19th match of Tata WPL 2023.
Both the teams faced each other at the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai where team MI wins the toss and chose to bowl first against RCB. The players of RCB faced a tough time as they were all down making a score of 125 runs. Amelia Kerr led Mumbai to win with her splendid all-rounder performance taking 3 wickets. Additionally, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Issy Wong each took 2-2 wickets while Saika grabbed one. Power players Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews added 53 runs giving off a great start. MI made 129 runs losing 6 wickets in just 16.3 overs. The player of the match title was achieved by Amelia Kerr for her all-around skill. She gave an unbeaten 31 off 27 balls grabbing the highest 3 wickets of RCB. Team Mumbai Indians secured their position in the semi-finals where they will face team yellow, UP Warriorz on Friday 24 March.
