Indian Team for SAFF U-19 Women's Championship 2024 Announced

The SAFF U-19 Women's Championship 2024 is set to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from February 2 to February 8, 2024. Four teams are scheduled to participate in the tournament: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Nepal. The matches will be held in Dhaka at the BSSS Mostafa Kamal Stadium. On February 2, 2024, India will clash against Bhutan in their first-ever encounter. The Indian U-19 girls placed as runners-up in the tournament's 2022 edition. Sukla Dutta announced the squad, which has 23 members.
The SAFF U-19 Women's Championship 2024 is a round-robin tournament where the top two teams from the group stage advance to the final. The 2022 Women's Championship in Nepal saw Bangladesh emerge as the champions, defeating Nepal 3-1 in the final match.
Sukla Dutta is the head coach of the Indian U19 women’s football team. Ahead of the 2024 SAFF U-19 Women's Championship, she was appointed head coach of the team. She coached the Indian U17 women's team in the past and was a former football player for the Indian national team. She coached the Rising Student Club to the Indian Women's League championship in 2017–18. She named the 23 players including:
