Indian Founder Shreya Prakash listed in Women-Focused Aurora Tech Award's 2025 Finalists

The women-focused Aurora Tech Award has made an announcement, revealing about the 2025 finalists. The names that have been shortlisted this year are founders from MENA, LATAM, Central Asia and APAC, leading startups across diverse industries that includes artificial intelligence, fintech, healthtech, amongst others.
The 2025 Finalists have been enlightened to carry demonstrated exceptional leadership in addition to technological advancements in their respective fields.
FlexiBees Founder Shreya Prakash from India; Arkangel AI Founder Laura Velásquez Herrera from Colombia; Farmatrix Founder Manzo Nyifamu Ogechi from Nigeria; Mama Space Founder Gulnaza Khalmanbetova from Kyrgyzstan; Elephan Founder Thais Sterenberg de Oliveira from Brazil; UpLeap Founder Leonie Korn from Switzerland; Borderless Founder Veronica Lee from Uzbekistan; HerVest Founder Solape Akinpelu from Nigeria; Nido Contech Founder Loretxu García from Chile; and lastly, E-Reo Founder Heiura Itae Tetaa from French Polynesia are the ones listed in the finalist of the 2025 Aurora Tech Award.
50% of the startups that has been represented by the 2025 finalists are at the seed stage while three of the projects are lingering at the pre-seed level and the rest are at the angel investment stages and the so-called friends and family investment.
“Aurora isn’t just a tech award – it’s a launchpad for the next generation of unicorn founders in emerging markets. With funding, high-profile investor access and a global network, we back the boldest women in tech who are building ventures that will redefine industries,” said Aurora Tech Award Head Isabella Ghassemi-Smith in a statement.
Organized by Entreprenelle, the final pitch competition shall take place at SHE CAN 2025. This firm’s aims at assisting and empowering females whose vision is to be entrepreneurs and business leaders.
