Indian Female Athletes Performance at Paris 2024 Olympics so far

Indian athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympics demonstrated resilience and excellence across various disciplines, earning five medals and setting new benchmarks for future competitions. India's campaign on Day 14 began where golfers Aditi Ashok and Diksha in stroke play round 3. The Indian women's 4x400m relay team came eighth in their heat, while the men's team was knocked out. Aman Sehrawat will fight for bronze in the men's 57kg category, while Anshu Malik will fight for bronze through repechage after losing her round of 16 bout to Japan's Rei Higuchi. Additionally, Vinesh Phogat's appeal has been accepted by CAS, and the hearing has been scheduled.

Manu Bhaker won bronze in the 10m Air Pistol (Women's) and added another bronze medal at the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event with Sarabjot Singh, Swapnil Kusale grabbed a bronze medal in the 50m Rifle Positions. The Indian Men's Hockey Team bronzed in the third-place playoff, whereas Neeraj Chopra clinched a silver medal in the Javelin Throw.

India's performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics was a mix of inspiring victories and challenging defeats, reflecting the progress and hurdles Indian sports continue to navigate on the world stage. Several Indian athletes, including Arjun Babuta at rifle shooting, Manu Bhaker at 25m pistol, Dhiraj Bommadevara & Ankita Bhakat at mixed archery, Maheshwari Chauhan & Anantjeet Singh Naruka at mixed shooting, Lakshya Sen at badminton, and Mirabai Chanu at weightlifting, narrowly missed out on medals in various events and were placed fourth position, showcasing incredible talent and determination despite narrowly missing the podium.
