IHCL Partners with TATA Projects to appoint all-Women Engineering Team for Construction of Hotel in Santacruz

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has cooperated with TATA Projects Limited for the development of the new Ginger hotel in Santacruz, Mumbai, appointed an all-woman engineering team, as part of its commitment to promoting women's empowerment and fostering an equitable workplace across industries.
This high-profile project represents a big step forward in fostering diverse opportunities for women in typically male-dominated industries such as construction.
IHCL's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, remarked, "at IHCL, we are committed to providing equal opportunities for all. Today, the world is marching towards a future where women are continuing to push the boundaries across sectors. This partnership with Tata Projects Limited reiterates this belief. We are proud of the all-woman team helming the construction of the all-new Ginger Santacruz."
The 371-room hotel, with a total built-up area of nearly 19,000 sq. m, will take 19 months to complete. This flagship Ginger hotel will be located in a great position near the Mumbai airport and the Western Express Highway.
