Hyeglo Beauty, a beauty and personal care brand, has raised Rs 7 crore in a funding round led by Sauce. Giga Capital, Consumer Collective, Arjun Purkayastha of Reckitt and The Patient Capital also participated in the investment round.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its research and development (R&D) efforts, introduce new products, expand brand-building activities and recruit additional talent, according to a press release.

Founded by Kanupriya Ahluwalia in 2026, Hyeglo is a direct-to-consumer (D2C) beauty and personal care brand that brings together skincare and makeup. The Delhi-based company focuses on developing products that combine skincare ingredients with cosmetic formulations.

Key Highlights:

  • Hyeglo Beauty raises Rs 7 crore in a funding round led by Sauce, with participation from Giga Capital and other investors
  • The Delhi-based D2C brand plans to use the funds for R&D, product launches, brand building and hiring
  • Hyeglo offers skincare-infused makeup products, including a skin tint, lip oil and lip balm, developed using a dermatology-focused approach

Hyeglo said its products feature clinically tested ingredients, skincare benefits and pigments. Through this approach, the brand aims to integrate skincare-focused formulations into everyday makeup products.

Hyeglo is a product brand that is developed in accordance with their skin science approach that is based on dermatological knowledge and expert consultation. The brand also collaborates with experienced professionals like Dr Sonal Tibrewal Garg (MD, Dermatology).

Hyeglo is a D2C brand making makeup containing activities that are usually used in skin care products. Its products include clinically proven ingredients, skin care actives and pigments, and are based on a principle the startup calls the “skinification” of makeup formulas, as titled by its tagline “Better Makeup, Built for Skin”.

Currently, the brand offers three products: a skin tint, lip oil and lip balm. It has a product line comprising Tintelligence Skin Adaptive Tinted Moisturizer (Rs 1,350), Better Left Behind Lip Oil Stain (Rs 999) and The Glow-To Lip & Cheek Glow Balm (Rs 799). The products are sold at the brand's online store and are also shipped to their customers free of charge.

It is based on a dermatological method of product development, where the skin scientists are the ones who tell the formulations, said Hyeglo. It has a panel of experienced experts, including Dr Sonal Tibrewal Garg, MD (Dermatology).

Hyeglo is in a beauty and personal care space where VC-backed brands are going to battle for the same young ingredient-conscious customer.

Asaya, a skincare brand, has recently received a fresh funding round of Rs 88 crore in August with a post-money valuation of Rs 400 crore in its Series A round. The startup claimed it is operating at an annual revenue rate of Rs 100 crore.

India's beauty and personal care industry is projected to almost double from $23 billion in FY26 to $42 billion by FY31, as estimated by Aditya Birla Capital. By 2030, the market is expected to reach the value of USD 40 billion, making India the fourth largest beauty and personal care market in the world, according to Redseer.
