Hyderabad Womenpreneurs Shine at TiE Women Global Summit

- Among the featured items was environmentally friendly packaging using Atlantic seaweed, and AI tools which provided the capability to 'read' your brain signal
Women entrepreneurs from Hyderabad showcased some innovative solutions in sustainability, healthcare, tech and more at the recently concluded TiE Women Global Summit.
Avinya NeuroTech, founded and led by Sowmya Darapaneni was a winner in the Hyderabad round and received a cash award of ₹1 lakh at the global summit. Avinya will be representing Hyderabad at the global level in January at the TiE Global Summit.
The aim of Avinya NeuroTech is to lower the cost of brain monitoring for hospitals and physicians through AI-enabled tools.
Avinya has immediate artificial intelligence products, NeuroAstra and NeuroPaahi that provide immediate passage to interpret brain signals and expedite treatment response in emergency and critical care-related situations.
The other entrepreneurs presented innovations no less impactful. Founded by Aditi Mullick, Prasinos Tech Innovations is working on nanobubble- and ozone-based systems to help in improving water quality, while Shailaja Bangaru from Rare & Authentic Extracts LLP has biodegradable, edible films using seaweed and guar gum as raw materials for a sustainable alternative to packaging.
Rachna Gujral’s Skylish Petcare has fresh and preservative-free pet food, while Prayushi Mathur from AjnHawk Technologies has essentially begun leveraging drones and AI for monitoring roads and infrastructure.
On the creative side, Avani Reddy brings modernity to traditional Indian textiles with Aharya Indie Craft Connect, while Nishtha Rohatgi with AI.HYR from Providentia Labs leverages AI for automating and simplifying hiring processes.
The event reflected the growing number of women-led startups in Hyderabad with innovative and practical solutions across various industries.
