Hitaashee, Vani, & Amandeep Set to Compete in Leg 3 of Women's Pro Golf Tour

Hitaashee Bakshi, the 2024 Order of Merit winner on the Women's Pro Golf Tour, will make her debut in the new season at the third leg of the Tour to be held at Poona Club Golf Course. Joining her in the competition are the winners of the first two events of 2025, Rhea Purvi Sarvanan and Sneha Singh. The tournament will feature 38 players, including India's rising amateur star, Mannat Brar.

Established players like Hitaashee Bakshi, Vani Kapoor, and Amandeep Drall are teeing off to test their form and prepare for international events. The PWGT schedule has been designed to allow Indian players to compete in home events before heading to international tournaments.

The trio aims to participate in the Jabra Ladies Classic and SuperSport Ladies Challenge, events previously won by India's Tvesa Malik.

Vidhatri Urs, a multiple winner on the PWGT last year, and Ananya Garg, who plans to play on the Sunshine Ladies Tour in South Africa, are also competing.

Rhea Purvi and Karishma Govind will play in events like the Platinum Ladies and ABSA Ladies Invitational in South Africa. Past winners like Jasmine Shekar, Seher Atwal, and Neha Tripathi strengthen the field.

In addition to Mannat Brar, other amateurs include Saanvi Somu (runner-up in the opening leg), Keerthana Rajiv, Ketaki Sood, and Mayara Sharma. The current Order of Merit leaders are Sneha Singh and Rhea Purvi Saravanan, the press release added.
