  • The program is designed to empower women entrepreneurs and support women-led startups in scaling up

herSTART 5.0 is an acceleration initiative of the Gujarat University Startup and Entrepreneurship Council (GUSEC) intended for female entrepreneurs.

The goal of this program is to provide assistance in converting early-stage concepts into large-scale, investor-attractive businesses methods of production through a complete ecosystem of support: including the specifically designed processes for accessing grant funds (up to ₹50 lakhs), the processes for applying for various government schemes, and providing unstructured financial planning and guidance.

Additionally, participants will have access to incubation services at GUSEC for a period of up to 2 years, receive support for developing their businesses and planning for growing them, receive access to up to $100,000 worth of cloud credits, receive support for technology resources, receive digital infrastructure support and will receive access to innovation tools.

Participants will also have access to co-working spaces and shared office facilities, startup-friendly facilities, collaborative working areas designed to support female entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, women participating in this program will have access to structured mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs, networking opportunities within a strong startup community, and experiential learning opportunities with peers through peer-to-peer learning.

In addition, all women will receive "single-window" startup support, assistance with compliance and documentation, and receive an e-certificate of program completion.
