HBA Holds Second India Leadership Summit in Mumbai

  • HBA held the second India Leadership Summit in Mumbai 
  • The event focused on the theme “Winning a Seat at the Table” 
  • It brought together leaders from more than 20 global healthcare and life sciences organizations 

The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association India Leadership Summit took place for the second time at The Lalit Hotel in Mumbai.  

Under the title of "Winning a Seat at the Table," the two-day summit convened multiple key voices in global healthcare and life sciences from over 20 organizations to shape what future leadership and talent development might look like in our sector.  

There were various industry leaders, additional emerging professional, and entrepreneurs present at the event.  

A good percentage of persons in attendance were from other healthcare companies (Amgen, Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Cognizant, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Syneos Health).  

Among the speakers were Sadhna Joglekar (Novartis), Rehan Khan (MSD), and Apoorva Aggarwal (ZS Associates) who guided the discussions on advancing career development and being a more effective leader. 

Mary Stutts, CEO of HBA, remarked that the Summit demonstrated the commitment of healthcare and life sciences professionals to playing a role in shaping the future of the industry and recognized India's growing presence in the organization global network. 
The program was structured to bring practical and strategy together: day one featured workshops on skills, i.e., storytelling and building a personal board of directors; and day two consisted of keynote speeches, talks, networking, and panels. 

In summary, the gathering was to offer ideas and competencies on leadership development and global networks.
