Gujarat CM Graces 'Celebrating Women Startups and Innovators' Event in Ahmedabad

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a "Celebrating Women Startups and Innovators" event at i-Hub in Ahmedabad to celebrate the completion of two years of the Gujarat government under his leadership titled Seva, Sankalp Ane Samarpan Na 2 Varsh.  The event showcased the innovative work of women entrepreneurs in sectors like Clean Technology, Agritech, Healthcare, and Deep tech. The CM emphasized the commitment of both state and central governments to support entrepreneurs through initiatives like Digital India, Start-Up India, and Stand Up India, which play a crucial role in strengthening the start-up ecosystem in India.

The CM announced testing and validation facilities for women startups, highlighting India's startup ecosystem development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, securing the country's third global position. According to a statement, "Women-led startups from various fields actively participated in the exhibition. In the event, organized by Gujarat Knowledge Society and i-Hub, the CM interacted with women entrepreneurs and gained insights into their startup journeys." The statement added, "The CM also pointed out that the Prime Minister's 'Back to Basics' mantra has propelled projects such as recycling and 'best from waste' which are gaining momentum and inspiring many young entrepreneurs with innovative solutions."

Gujarat CM highlighted the significant role of women in the economy, stating that they currently contribute 42 per cent. He emphasized the state government's commitment to involve women entrepreneurs in Viksit Bharat, providing them with the right platform and support. The CM also emphasized the Prime Minister's motto, 'Yahi Samay Hai, Sahi Samay Hai'.
