Guidewire Software India offers Scholarship Program for Female Students in STEM

Guidewire Software India has launched its "ElevatED by Guidewire" scholarship program, aiming to empower female students in STEM fields. The program provides financial assistance and mentorship opportunities, encouraging more women to pursue careers in these fields. the initiative reflects Guidewire's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, aiming to contribute to a more diverse workforce in the technology sector.
The Guidewire's program supports disadvantaged female students in higher education, providing financial support, mentorship, and networking opportunities, based on academic performance and family income.
Mohammed Anzy S, Vice President of Engineering & Management Director, Guidewire mentions, "The 'ElevatED by Guidewire' initiative holds a special significance for us at Guidewire, as we are deeply passionate about education and women's empowerment. Through this program, we hope to empower the next generation of women leaders from socioeconomically disadvantaged families by providing them mentorship, upskilling, internships, and career opportunities."
Implemented by the Foundation for Excellence, this scholarship program "ElevatED by Guidewire" will be provided to promising students in engineering, medical, B.Pharm, and law programs for 2024-25. Applicants can submit their forms by October 31, 2024. The scholarship aims to reduce the gender gap in technology by providing education and career opportunities to female students. This initiative is part of Guidewire's corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, supporting sustainable development goals and enabling female leaders in technology.
