Goa Unveils the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup host City Logo

The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2022 will take place in India from October 11 to October 30. The seventh iteration of the biennial youth competition will mark India's first-ever hosting of a FIFA women's championship.
India's U-17 women's team was placed in Group A with nations like Brazil, Morocco, and the United States of America (USA). The Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar will serve as the site for all of India's contests.
The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup India 2022 will be held in the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa.
The FIFA Under-17 Men's World Cup was held in India in 2017, and the top young female footballers in the world will now be exhibiting their talents to win the prized trophy.
An official statement stated that the budgetary allotment for the Scheme of Assistance to National Sports Federations (NSFs) will be used to cover the financial outlay of Rs. 10 crore assistance to the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the field of play maintenance, stadium power, energy and cabling, stadia, and training site branding.
The event is anticipated to increase the representation of women in football leadership and decision-making bodies, improve football standards for women in India, and increase the commercial value of the women's game, according to the report. It has the potential to strengthen women's football in the nation.
The event will not only encourage females in India to play football as their sport of choice, but it also has the potential to leave a lasting legacy that will encourage women and girls in the nation to participate in sports in general.
The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup is the international competition for female athletes under or up to the age of 17.
The celebration began in 2008 and takes place every even-numbered year. 2018's sixth iteration of the occasion took place in Uruguay from November 13 to December 1. At the time of writing, Spain is the FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup champion.
The seventh iteration of the competition, which will feature 16 teams including India, will take place in India in 2022.
The AIFF has suggested using Bhubaneshwar, Navi Mumbai, and Goa as the locations for the competition games. The FIFA Under-17 Men's World Cup India-2017 was successfully held in India in six different cities: New Delhi, Guwahati, Mumbai, Goa, Kochi, and Kolkata.
