Combining craft, enterprise, and innovation, FLO Bazaar organized by FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) in Coimbatore aims to offer new opportunities to regional women entrepreneurs. Exhibition of high-quality handmade and lifestyle products will be organized via this two-day event, also transforming the event into a networking platform.

The 11th edition of FLO Bazaar was inaugurated on Friday, marking a step towards fulfilling the promise of promoting women entrepreneurs and fostering the growth of small businesses by FICCI FLO.

The trade fair showcases more than 50 women-owned businesses from Coimbatore, and it comprises a varied range of hand-made products that include home-made foods, home décor products, health solutions, fashion wear, and lifestyle products.

Organized at Suguna Kalyana Mandapam, the FLO Bazaar displays hand-woven sarees, dress materials, jewelry, handmade food items, paintings, and much more. This provides an opportunity to small businesses to widen their market base, interact with customers, and promote their brand identity.

Key Highlights:

  • 11th FLO Bazaar empowers over 50 women-owned businesses
  • Handcrafted products spotlight women entrepreneurs in Coimbatore
  • Green initiative links product sales with tree plantation drives

As a means to enhance the local entrepreneurship ecosystem, FLO Bazaar gives women entrepreneurs the opportunity to benefit from a business platform that is worth every penny, according to a press release by the organizers.

This exhibition is set to give women entrepreneurs a platform to sell their products and at the same time encourage entrepreneurship from the grassroots level. The regions of Coimbatore and its surrounding areas gain products visibility and also create space for growth and client interaction.

Combining entrepreneurship with environmental sustainability, the Green Vertical of FICCI FLO Coimbatore is exhibiting almost 15 handmade categories of products manufactured by more than 20 women entrepreneurs at FLO Bazaar. The FLO Bazaar continues from June 26–27, 2026 wherein one can enjoy looking at a variety of items that have been handmade by the enterprising women.

The product list includes handmade jewelry, handbags, gift cards, coasters, fruit boxes, pickles, and other kinds of handmade items. The sale proceeds from this will go for tree planting campaigns in Coimbatore, thereby showing its contribution to environmental sustainability and community development.

This exhibition is being conducted under the leadership of FICCI FLO Coimbatore Chapter Chairperson Parnika Gupta, and Vanaja Ramaraj as the convenor of the event. The previous Chairpersons Poonam Bafna and Aparna Sunku, in addition to the core committee members Pooja Rao and Vidisha Saraogi, are also related to the event.

FICCI FLO Coimbatore is the regional branch of FICCI FLO. FICCI Ladies Organisation is the women’s body of the FICCI organisation and was established in 1992. FICCI FLO Coimbatore acts as an important forum for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and executives in Coimbatore.

It is worth noticing that such exhibits take place throughout the year in different regions of India via their respective chapters, and these provide local women brands a chance to interact directly with their customers. Apart from buying and selling, these exhibitions also try to encourage the "vocal for local" concept and also use the proceeds to help disadvantaged women.
