Esper to Launch Esper Career Day '22 to Hire More Women in Workforce
By: WE Staff | Thursday, 17 March 2022
Esper, the industry's premier DevOps platform for devices, has announced that it will hold a recruitment drive called Esper Career Day 2022, with a focus on gender diversity. Esper Career Day is a newly established Career enablement IP to hire talent across verticals, and the inaugural edition: WECareer (Women Empowerment Career), which intends to hire women in tech and marketing professions, was launched on the occasion of Women's Day this year.
Women now hold 10% of the firm's leadership positions, and the organisation is proud to watch them develop and inspire their colleagues. Esper India is looking to hire women who are passionate about technology and innovation as part of its DEIB initiative, which aims to boost the company's female workforce. Women can apply here between March 8, 2022, and March 17, 2022 to participate.
Several lives and livelihoods have been impacted by the global pandemic. Many people lost their employment, with women outnumbering men. Indeed, according to data from the first shutdown in 2020, 7% of men lost their jobs during the period, compared to 47% of women. As a result, Esper wants to make sure that all employees feel like they belong and have equal possibilities. Women should also feel confident when returning to work after a break, as well as motivated and encouraged to locate a job that is a good fit for their professional aspirations.
Krutika Kage, Esper's Head of Operations and Spokesperson, stated, “There has been an upward trend in women’s participation in the technology industry in India. Women are leading many strategic positions at Esper, they believe in themselves and the team they lead. And, we surely want more of such passionate Sheroes in the team to build, innovate and grow. And we at Esper are committed to building a workforce full of opportunities for everyone. Furthering our goal of embedding inclusive practices across all departments, our initiative is about making the workplace more diverse. We believe in hiring a culture fit and giving opportunities to people passionate about their work.”
She further added, “Esper Career Day is one of the first steps towards our goal to build a strong team of equal opportunities. We want to build managers who can be great leaders tomorrow and help Esper achieve its organizational goals.”
