The Institute for Entrepreneurship Development (IED) India has partnered with WeAct to host an event called WEutsav which is dedicated to honoring women’s entrepreneurship in rural India.
This one-day exhibition will take place on 14 February 2026 from 11:00AM to 6:00PM at Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru and will be free for all attendees.
This event also aims to foster the overall progression of women entrepreneurs from their initial skill development to establishing successful and sustainable businesses.
There will be over 15 different states represented by women entrepreneurs displaying custom made products that will consist of eco-friendly and handmade products including; textiles, food, home décor, and various sustainable solutions, etc.
There shall be arrangements for product exhibitions, sales stalls, craft demonstrations, and state-specific experience zones to show the heritage, culture, ethnicity, and famous landmarks of the respective states. Such arrangements shall offer an immersive sense of traditional arts and rural enterprises of India.
WEutsav also provides a platform for the youth and students to learn from and interact with real-life stories of entrepreneurship. There will be certificates of participation for the students and learning institutions, encouraging learning beyond the conventional classroom.
With this initiative, EDII and WeAct reiterate their commitment to women empowerment, livelihood creation, and inclusive economic development through enhancing market accessibility and visibility of rural entrepreneurs.
