BoAt, a consumer electronics brand, has launched a new smartwatch product for women users. The product is yet another entry into wearable technology products by boAt. The new smartwatch is meant to meet lifestyle and health tracking demands.
The watch is slim, stylish, and fashionable, and it comes in different colors. The important features of this smart watch include the presence of different health and fitness-related attributes like heart rate monitoring, step tracking, sleep tracking, stress tracking, women’s health tracking, and menstrual cycle tracking.
The watch will support a number of activities, including running, yoga, and cycling. Other features of the smart watch include incoming call notifications, messages, and notifications of supported apps. The smart watch offers long-lasting batteries, enabling the watch to run for several days from a single charge.
boAt has announced that the smartwatch will be sold online and through offline, select retail stores across the country. The company has been marketing the product as an affordable option with a set of commonly found features in smartwatches.
In its announcement, boAt said, "This launch is also in line with our larger strategy of building technology products for various segments of consumers.” Further, boAt has also received an increasing demand for women-oriented technology products, and the smartwatch is part of its plan to address this section in the wearables space.
The wearables, especially the smartwatches, have been witnessing an overall increase in their adoption rate due to the momentum around health and fitness.
Now, in the form of this new and women-centric portfolio, boAt is looking to take their brand a step further in the lifestyle and wellness wearable’s segment.
