A 51% majority stake in PYI Technologies Pvt Ltd, a Pune-based startup that specializes in camera drones, DIY kits, and customized drone solutions, will be acquired by DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations, a drone startup focused on enterprise solutions. By improving its offerings, the acquisition aims to strengthen DroneAcharya's position in the drone industry and expand its range of services.
This acquisition marks the beginning of a new era of female drone entrepreneurs. Janhavi Sawant the woman entrepreneur who founded PYI Technologies, has received recognition for her contributions to the drone industry. This acquisition is a step toward gender equality and a good development for women in the drone industry.
"This collaboration signifies the limitless potential when passion meets opportunity, paving the way for aspiring women in the business landscape," states Janhavi Sawant, founder and CEO of PYI Technologies and an inspiration to aspiring women entrepreneurs. Janhavi, a B. Tech Mechatronics final-year student at Symbiosis Skills & Professional University, is an inspiration to female entrepreneurs in the largely male-dominated drone industry.
