Before arriving at Locus, Deepa was AVP & Head HR, APAC & India at Amadeus, where she was responsible for strategic human resources for over 7000 employees spread through the Asia-Pacific region. Being a permanent member of the CHRO Senior Leadership Team, she significantly contributed in defining the workforce strategy, revamping the regional HR operating model, and setting up Centers of Excellence for Talent, Rewards, HR Operations, Analytics, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and Employer Branding. Besides, she also enhanced governance and compliance over various markets in Asia.

Recently, Deepa was the Senior Director, HR (Product & Engineering) at Freshworks. She worked closely with the Chief Product Officer to develop and implement the people strategy for the global team of about 1, 900 Product and Engineering professionals. In the context of a significant change driven by AI, she handled workforce planning, succession management, organizational restructurings, leadership development pipeline, internal mobility efforts, technical upskilling programs, and employee engagement activities, all to drive business growth and innovation.

Besides, her professional history exhibits extraordinary working success at Cisco, 3M, Wipro, GE Healthcare and Honeywell Technology Solutions. Within these businesses, she has been in charge of various HR strategies at the enterprise-level, organizational transformation programs, leadership development initiatives, talent engagement, HR analytics, diversity and inclusion programs as well as large-scale change management projects in India, the Middle East and other global markets.

Deepa is anticipated to be a key player as Locus expands its worldwide presence, helping align the people's strategy with the business goals.
