L'Oreal Paris & Shark Tank India Opens Entry for Women Founders
By: Women Entrepreneurs Review Team | Friday, 3 July 2026
L’Oréal Paris has partnered with Sony LIV's Shark Tank India to introduce an exclusive Priority Registration window for women entrepreneurs ahead of the public application process for Season 6. The initiative aims to increase women's participation in India's startup ecosystem by offering aspiring founders early access to one of the country's most recognised entrepreneurship platforms.
Key Highlights:
- L’Oréal Paris and Shark Tank India launch exclusive early applications for women founders
- Women entrepreneurs can apply from 1 to 7 July 2026 before general entries open
- The initiative aims to boost women's access to mentorship, investment, and national visibility
The Priority Registration window is open until 11 July 2026 through the Sony LIV app. Women entrepreneurs who apply during this period will progress through the show's standard selection process, with shortlisted candidates receiving the opportunity to pitch their businesses before the panel of investors. Alongside the possibility of securing investment, participants will also gain access to mentorship, industry exposure, and national visibility.
The collaboration extends L’Oréal Paris' long-standing 'I'm Worth It' philosophy beyond beauty by promoting women's economic empowerment through entrepreneurship. By creating an exclusive application pathway, the brand seeks to address barriers that often limit women's access to funding, business networks, and growth opportunities.
To support the campaign, L’Oréal Paris and Shark Tank India have released a promotional film on Sony LIV that highlights the self-doubt, societal expectations, and fear of judgment many women face while pursuing entrepreneurial ambitions. The campaign encourages women across India to believe in their ideas, build their businesses with confidence, and apply for the upcoming season.
The initiative also aligns with Shark Tank India's broader mission of creating a more diverse and inclusive startup ecosystem by encouraging greater representation of women-led ventures. The programme hopes to connect promising founders with experienced investors who can help them scale their businesses.
WPP Media has served as the strategic media partner for the campaign, developing platform-first integrations to maximise its reach among aspiring women entrepreneurs across the country.
Women founders interested in applying must register through the Sony LIV app by completing the online application form with details about themselves, their business model, revenue, and future growth plans. Applicants are also required to submit a 90-second pitch video explaining their venture. Shortlisted candidates will move on to further evaluation rounds, including an in-person audition and a final studio pitch in Mumbai.
The announcement follows the conclusion of Shark Tank India Season 5, which aired between January and March 2026. Although Sony LIV has not yet revealed the investor panel or premiere date for Season 6, the launch of Priority Registration confirms that preparations for the next season are underway.
Building on the show's strong record of supporting women-led startups, the initiative aims to strengthen the pipeline of female founders entering India's entrepreneurial ecosystem. By offering early access to applications, mentorship, and investment opportunities, L’Oréal Paris and Shark Tank India hope to ensure more women receive the platform, visibility, and support needed to transform their business ideas into scalable ventures.
