The state government's programmes to support women under the direction of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy include Jagananna Amma Vodi, YSR Cheyutha, and YSR Aasara, as well as the implementation of 50% female quotas in nominated positions and partnerships with Amul Dairy and Disha initiatives, as well as house sites for women beneficiaries.
The officials pointed out that the YSR Zero Interest Loan Scheme gives money to women's self-help organisations (SHGs).
The state government provided 6,595 crore in financial aid to mothers of children enrolled in classes 1 through 12 as part of Jagananna Amma Vodi in June. The government has already made investments totaling 19,617.53 crores, which have helped 82.31 lakh students and 44.50 lakh mothers, according to the press release.
According to the CMO, the chief minister visited Kuppam in September and, for the third year running, under the YSR Cheyuta programme, gave monetary assistance worth 4,949.44 crore to 26,39,703 women who were between the ages of 45 and 60 and belonged to the SC, ST, BC, and other minority sections. Beneficiaries are urged to open grocery stores or start ranches.
The government has collaborated with companies like Amul, ITC, HUL, and Reliance in addition to banks to boost the grantees' access to business opportunities by providing technical assistance, skill development, and marketing support.
In Anantapur, the government launched "Jaganna Palavelluva" in January to liberate and empower the female dairy producers. The concept was born out of a partnership with Amul.
