CM KCR Prioritises Women's Safety and Financial Security: Kavitha

MLC K Kavitha remarked that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao prioritises women's safety and financial security. The TRS leader took part in a campaign in the city called "Call It Out Because It's Not OK." "If a pension has to be given to a marriage, Telangana gives it to the wife first," Kavitha told the crowd. The wife's name is also on the property when a couple is given a double bedroom residence. The Telangana administration is committed to women's empowerment. Safety should be as natural as breathing, and women should not have to ask for it."
Kavitha said she was one of the few lucky women who have not directly faced gender bias in her career. "By being a woman in politics, there is a comfort level that women of the country feel when approaching her. "There is a need for more women in politics. The country's women will then feel more comfortable talking about their issues," she stressed.
The Telangana government is collaborating with NALSAR University on a law to address women's cyber harassment. Despite the fact that the Indian Penal Code (IPC) contains rules dealing with cybercrime, she said the government opted to enact specific legislation to make it easier to instruct individuals, police, and businesses. "Women in Telangana know where to go to get help. Even in rural areas, they know they can approach SHE Teams or the cybercrime department," She went on to say that Hyderabad was now one of the safest cities in the world.
