CII IWN Odisha Hosts 'Shakti Samman' to Honour Women Changemakers

- In Bhubaneswar, the Indian Women Network (CII IWN) Odisha Chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry hosted an uplifting event called "Shakti Samman"
- The purpose of the event was to honor the accomplishments, tenacity, and spirit of women changemakers in Odisha's many sectors
Confederation of Indian Industry's Indian Women Network (CII IWN), Odisha Chapter, organized a dynamic and motivational evening called "Shakti Samman" to recognize the success and spirit of Odisha women changemakers. The evening saw participation from an elite gathering of prominent industry leaders, government officials, and innovative women entrepreneurs.
The night was highlighted with the presence of Chief Guest, Pravati Parida, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha and Minister for Women & Child Development and Mission Shakti. Her speech provided good impetus to the women-led development and empowerment movement.
The highlight of the night was the "Shakti Samman 2025" felicitation, wherein exemplary women whose efforts have rendered a huge service to society and industry were felicitated.
The occasion also had a Special Address by Anu Garg, IAS, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha. She reasserted the state's pledge for inclusive growth through smart planning, convergence, and resource mobilization.
Zubina Ali, Chairperson of CII IWN Odisha, gave the Welcome Address, which introduced an evening that focused on empowerment through leadership.
CII Odisha State Council Chairman Sunil Gupta gave the Theme Address, and followed it up with intelligent observations by Monalisa Panda, Managing Director of Sai BioCare Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Sudhi Ranjan Mishra, Vice Chairman of CII North Odisha Zonal Council. The evening saw valedictory addresses by G. Suresha, Vice Chairman, CII Odisha State Council.
With the sub-theme "Shakti ru Samruddhi" (Prosperity through Women's Power), the event reiterated CII IWN Odisha's focus on supporting women by creating platforms that celebrate women, nourish them, and empower them, in conformity with the large agenda of inclusive and sustainable development.
