Chandrababu Naidu Begins Election Campaign in AP; Promises Schemes for Women & Unemployed Youth

N Chandrababu Naidu, Party Supremo sounded the poll bugle for the TDP in Andhra Pradesh by announcing a number of welfare programs for the farmers, women, and jobless youth that would be offered once it returned to power in the state following the 2024 assembly elections.
On the last day of the two-day "Mahanadu" program of the party on Sunday night, Chandrababu made a number of significant commitments to women, including the Bhavishyakthu Guarantee scheme which will provide women over the age of 18 with a cash allowance of Rs. 1,500 per month, Rs. 15,000 per year for all mothers, and free transportation facility for women on APSRTC buses within a district.
He further promised to provide 20 lakh job opportunities to youth under the Yuva Galam scheme in various government departments, Rs 3,000 monthly unemployment benefits under the Yuva Galam Fund, and Rs. 20,000 annual cash allowance to the farmers who are in debt and need to clear their agricultural costs.
Chandrababu stated that he would start implementing these plans into action as soon as he comes to power. During his five years of leadership, the Bhavishyakthu Guarantee monthly cash allowance for all women will be worth Rs. 18,000 annually and Rs. 90,000.
In addition to providing allowances, the TDP leader also promised to provide clean and safe drinking water to every household and introduce laws for the protection and security of members of the Backward Classes (BCs).
