- The appointment is part of the company’s efforts to enhance its senior leadership and talent development
Capgemini has appointed Vinisha S as the new HR Head for Talent Management and Strategic Initiatives. The appointment is expected to boost the company’s leadership and improve its emphasis on enterprise-wide talent development.
She confirmed the appointment through a LinkedIn post. In her new role, Vinisha will be responsible for managing talent programs and strategic HR initiatives on a global scale, as opposed to business units and regions.
Vinisha will be responsible for leadership development, succession planning, and employee capability frameworks, as well as organizational development initiatives. The appointment is expected to ensure that talent and people processes remain consistent across Capgemini’s global operations.
Unlike the role of an HR head in a region, her role will be more focused on governance, program design, and aligning talent strategy with the company’s overall strategy. The implementation of these strategies will remain the responsibility of the regional and functional HR teams.
With over two decades of experience in the HR field, Vinisha brings significant expertise to her new position. Prior to this, she spent over 11 years at Hexaware Technologies, most recently as Assistant Vice-President and Cluster HR Head, where she was responsible for people strategies for business clusters.
She has also worked as an HR leader for Ashok Piramal Group and Mahindra & Mahindra – Bristlecone India, with experience in the industrial and technology sectors.
Vinisha has a postgraduate degree in business management with a specialization in human resources from Mumbai University.
Vinisha’s appointment is a testimony to Capgemini’s continued investment in talent systems to drive growth and leadership development across different service lines and geographies.
The strategic importance of her role underlines the company’s focus on long-term workforce planning and leadership development.
