BJP's Rajasthan Manifesto Champions Women's Empowerment

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has disclosed its comprehensive manifesto ahead of the state assembly elections. With a focus on development and progress, the manifesto encompasses key promises that address critical areas ranging from women's safety to agricultural support.

The cornerstone of the agricultural agenda is the commitment to purchasing wheat at Rs 2,700 per quintal, supplemented by a bonus on the minimum support price (MSP). Additionally, a committee will be established to compensate 19,400 farmers whose land has been seized due to non-payment of bank loans.

Ensuring the safety of women features prominently in the BJP's agenda, with the pledge to establish 'Mahila Thanas' in every district and deploy anti-romeo forces. The party also vows to set up a Special Investigation Team to probe cases of paper leaks and corruption, signalling a robust approach to governance.

In an innovative move, the Ladli Protsahan Yojna is introduced, offering a savings bond of Rs 2 lakh for every newborn daughter. This scheme unfolds with structured deposits, promoting financial empowerment as the child progresses through various stages of education.

Agricultural reforms take centre stage, with the promise to elevate the Kisan Saman Nidhi to Rs 12,000 per annum. Furthermore, the BJP commits to providing LPG cylinders to deserving Ujjawala beneficiaries at a subsidized rate of Rs 450.

Women's empowerment extends into education and employment, with a 50% reservation for women in teacher recruitment. Widows and destitute women will see a boost in their monthly pension to Rs 1,500. For girls, the BJP pledges free education and ensures that pending vacancies for women are filled on a priority basis.

The manifesto also underscores the importance of equitable infrastructure development, aligning with the party's overarching vision of Sabaka Saath, Sabka Vishwas. By addressing critical issues in sectors like agriculture, women's safety, and education, the BJP's manifesto paints a comprehensive picture of a promising and progressive Rajasthan.
