Priyanka Gandhi to launch 'Nyay' scheme for Women amid Elections

Priyanka Gandhi, Congress General Secretary pledged eight guarantees for women, including a Rs 500 subsidy for LPG cylinder refilling, loan waivers for self-help groups, free accident treatment, and 600 school upgrades of the power of Congress remains in the upcoming Chattisgarh assembly elections.
During the election rallies in Khairgarh and Bilaspur, she promised numerous government initiatives and emphasized state achievements, appealing to the public to become informed and vote for their preferred candidate.
The Congress leader also announced plans to provide free electricity to up to 200 units, upgrade 600 schools to Swami Aatmanand schools, and offer Rs 500 per refill of LPG cylinders for women under the 'Mehtari Nyay Yojana' which will transfer the amount to their bank accounts if she is re-elected.
The number of rural industrial parks will increase from 300 to 1000, and the farmer's support price will include 'tivara' lentils. Over 6,600 transport business vehicle owners will receive a waiver of outstanding motor vehicle tax and penalties worth Rs 726 crore until 2018.
In Congress-led states, all societal sections, including farmers, women, children, tribals, and Dalits, have been addressed, transforming violence-prone regions like Bastar into millet-producing places, promoting Gandhi's vision of rural development as a key to the country's development, says Priyanka Gandhi.
