BCCI announces Indian Women's Cricket Team for IND vs BAN series

The 18-member Indian women's cricket team that will take part in Bangladesh's exclusive tour for the upcoming India vs Bangladesh series has been announced by the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI). The match will begin on July 9 at Mirpur. Since the T20 World Cup in South Africa in February, the Indian women's team has not competed in any international tournament. Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the team as captain whereas Smriti Mandhana has been selected as the Vice Captain of the team. Richa Ghosh and Renuka Singh Thakur were not included in the teams.

Three T20 international matches and an equal number of ODIs will be played between the Indian women's team and Bangladesh women's team. There will be six matches during the series which will be hosted by The Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur. The ODI matches will begin at 9:00 am whereas the T20 matches will start at 1:30 pm.
