Aster UAE Launches Life-Stage Women's Health Program
By: Women Entrepreneurs Review Team | Tuesday, 30 June 2026
Aster DM Healthcare in UAE has launched a comprehensive women's healthcare package, which includes preventive, diagnostic and specialist care in a single package to ensure that women are cared for throughout their lives, from adolescence to menopause and beyond.
The program is rolled out in Aster Hospitals and Clinics under the banner of "Care for Her" and under Medcare network under the banner of “Elle by Medcare", a premium program. Together the two platforms provide a life-stage approach to health care, emphasizing prevention, early detection, treatment and ongoing support for health.
The program has been developed to address a gap in the healthcare system to deliver coordinated healthcare services that can cover different healthcare needs at different life stages to women, the healthcare group said. It consists of four phases—the teens and twenties, young women, perimenopause and menopause—with clinical pathways and multidisciplinary consultations to accompany each phase, along with preventive screenings.
Alisha Moopen, Managing Director & Group CEO, Aster DM Healthcare in her address on the occasion of the launch mentioned that many women do not get timely advice as they are very busy in their daily lives and they have no support systems. The group's expertise in women's health enabled it to build a network which would be able to serve women at all life stages, she said.
Key Highlights:
- Aster launches a life-stage women's health program in the UAE
- Offers preventive, diagnostic and specialist care under one framework
- Includes dedicated clinics and community health awareness initiatives
The concept is to give women a better understanding so they are able to research and make decisions about their health care, with personalized information and easy-to-navigate services, Alisha said. The program is a "first in its kind" in the UAE because it brings together the knowledge of various specialties and offers the patient comprehensive care, she added.
Services are offered such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT), reproductive and sexual health services, thyroid and metabolic health care services, mental health counseling, and specialty consultation services in endocrinology, cardiology, internal medicine, and dermatology. The multidisciplinary approach involves the management of the physical, hormonal, emotional and metabolic health.
Aster Hospital Al Mankhool, Aster Hospital Al Qusais and various Aster Clinics throughout Dubai – such as Bur Dubai, Aster Hospital Muteena, Aster Hospital Discovery Gardens, Aster Hospital Arabian Ranches, Aster Hospital Al Qusais and Aster Hospital Al Khail – will offer “Care for Her”. The program provides a coordinated referral, diagnostics, treatment, follow-up consultation and long-term health tracking, with dedicated care coordinators.
In turn, " Elle by Medcare" will provide a more customized healthcare experience at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital, Medcare Women & Children Hospital, Medcare Hospital Sharjah, Medcare Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi Hospital and selected Medcare Medical Centres. It begins with a gynecology consultation, and then moves on to individual care plans featuring multiple medical specialties and advanced medical tests.
In this regard, Aster DM Healthcare will also be setting up Adolescence Clinics and Menopause Clinics to cater to two life stages, which are often lacking in special care. Clinics will focus on early intervention and health education and long term planning to benefit women and families.
The healthcare provider will also be conducting awareness campaigns, workshops, wellness programs for the corporate sector, and outreach programs for schools. Through these activities this will be expected to promote early awareness of women's health problem, health literacy and promote preventive healthcare, particularly in adolescents.
Aster DM Healthcare was established in 1987 by Dr. Azad Moopen, one of the top integrated healthcare providers in the Gulf region. It operates 15 hospitals under its Aster and Medcare brands and 128 clinics and 338 pharmacies in five GCC countries and Jordan. The new women's health program is a component of the larger effort to promote accessible, preventative and patient-centered health care for the region.
