Arohi Deshpande Tops among Women 2026 JEE Aspirants

Ranking first among the female candidates in the year 2026 for JEE Advanced is Arohi Deshpande who has successfully attained a position of 77 in the All India Common Rank List with a score of 280/360.
Arohi has demonstrated exceptional academic achievement owing to smart preparation, determination, and a consistent study schedule focusing on quality and deliverance.
Shubham Kumar, hailing from the state of Bihar, secured the All India Rank 1, scoring 330 out of 360 marks.
Closely following Shubham was Kabeer Chhillar, with 329 marks, followed by Jatin Chahar with the third rank, having obtained 319 marks. It is clear from the above that the students from the IIT Delhi region have done exceptionally well.

Arohi originally hails from Pune, Maharashtra, but prepared for JEE in Kota, Rajasthan. According to sources, she stayed away from social media and concentrated solely on overcoming her weaknesses.
In her media remarks, Arohi credited her success to organized study planning and effective revision methods. Along effective time management, adapting various study methods, she also relied on colour-coded study planning adding in better syllabus management. Consistent practice, mock tests, and maintaining a positive mindset became key contributors to her success.
The results for JEE Advanced 2026 were declared by IIT Roorkee, which is the organizing institute of JEE Advanced 2026.
2026 witnessed a good response from the students in JEE Advanced, where there was a total of 1,87,389 registrations in JEE Advanced, out of which 1,79,694 students appeared for both papers in JEE Advanced. A total of 56,880 qualified candidates were recorded, out of which 10,107 were women aspirants, showing the growing trend of female taking part in India’s best engineering exam.
According to the examination pattern of JEE Advanced 2026, two paper tests were conducted on 17th May 2026 in two sessions. Paper 1 was conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and Paper 2 conducted from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
