AP PGECET 2025 Results Declared Women Candidates Outnumber Males Among Qualifiers

- The official announcement of the AP PGECET 2025 results took place on Tuesday evening
State IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh made the announcement - The test yielded a strong overall pass rate of 93.55%
The Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) 2025 results were officially declared on Tuesday evening by the state's IT and Education Minister, Nara Lokesh. He declared a remarkable over-all pass percentage of 93.55 percent, marking a high turnout for this year's state-level postgraduate entrance examination.
A total of 14,231 candidates had enrolled for the examination, which was held in 13 subjects of engineering and pharmacy. Of these, 11,244 candidates were successful, with 5,491 male and 5,753 female students, the latter including a slight majority of women over men among the successful candidates.
AP PGECET serves as a main doorway for admissions into the M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, and Pharma D courses in the state. On the day of announcement, Minister Lokesh congratulated all the selected candidates and reiterated the government's firm determination towards transparency, merit selection, and equal access to higher education.
"This achievement is a testament to the commitment of our students as well as the efforts of the government in continuous reform and strengthening of the education system in Andhra Pradesh", said Lokesh
