Annapurna Vishwanathan Moves On from Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB)

Bangalore-based Annapurna Vishwanathan has moved on from her two-year stint as Head- Digital at Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB). The technocrat has now come on board Cummins India as the design and manufacturing firm’s news Chief Information Officer (CIO), according to sources. 


Headquartered in Pune, Cummins India is a corporation of complementary business units that design, engineer, manufacture, distribute, and service engines and related technologies. In her new role as the CIO of Cummins India, Vishwanathan will be handling IT and technologies which assist the business operations and other chief functions. 


Vishwanathan is armed with over 15 years of experience in managing technology, software development, and digital transformation. Prior to joining HCCB, she had spent over 10 years at GE where Vishwanathan was also inducted as a part of the senior leadership team of the firm’s digital business in India. She had also worked towards setting up the Digital hub. During her time at GE she also worked with global IT leaders to explore insourcing opportunities and setting up these capabilities in the India digital hub. 


She has had varied experience working across the globe on key GE priorities like IT security, establishing cash controls, acquisition integrations, implementing oracle sourcing platforms, etc.


Cummins, headquartered in the US, is an American multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation products. Other business sectors include services engines and related equipment, fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission control, electrical power generation systems, and more.
