Amit Shah Launches Gujarati Version of Anandibens Biography

The Gujarati translation of the book on Anandiben Patel, the first female Chief Minister of the State of Gujarat and now Governor of the State of Uttar Pradesh was launched in Ahmedabad.

The launch of the book was done by Amit Shah Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat, Rameshbhai Oza, Bhagwat Katha exponent.

During the event, Amit Shah gave a speech about the life of Anandi Ben Patel stating that it had been a life dedicated to hard work and perseverance, even now at the age of 85 she is still actively participating as Governor of Uttar Pradesh.

He spoke about the many political positions she held throughout her career: teacher, legislator, minister, Chief Minister of Gujarat, Governor in several states. He also noted the contributions she made in the area of party organisation and her dedication to the education field in Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel spoke about how Anandi Ben Patel's state as Chief Minister was a period of great integrity, administration, and public service.

He also commented on how the title of the book reflects how Anandi Ben Patel has overcome all odds throughout her life and how her life can serve as an example for future generations, especially women and mentioned the work she has done in the areas of women's empowerment, education, water conservation, sanitation, and governance within Gujarat.

Anandi Ben Patel has said that she attributes her success to the help she received from her political party. A portion of the proceeds from this book will be donated to support girls' educational programs, while she noted ongoing initiatives in Uttar Pradesh to develop an integrated system for education at all levels – from Anganwadis through universities.

Rameshbhai Oza has pointed out that Anandi Ben Patel is an example of a woman's strength and that she serves as inspiration for others to respond positively and confidently toward obstacles that may present themselves in life.

The event was attended by numerous leading figures, including B. r. Harsh Sanghavi, the Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, along with state ministers, political leaders, educators, social service organizations and others.
