This program is an indication of the increasing trend of entrepreneurship that allows women not only to participate economically but also own businesses and become financially independent.

Currently, about 40 women-owned businesses work as franchises for Ajay’s Café in several cities. The inclusion of women in the Ajay’s Café franchise system marks the beginning of their journey into entrepreneurship as they get to learn about the basics of entrepreneurship while running their business operations.

  • Ajay’s Udaan highlights entrepreneurship as a pathway to financial independence
  • The initiative celebrates women’s growing role in entrepreneurship

Ajay's Café supports entrepreneurs who wish to venture into the business world have access to a well-established business system that is supported by the operational ecosystem. The franchise partners will receive help in various aspects like training, technology, logistics, and marketing. These support services help the franchisees gain the necessary expertise to manage their operations successfully.

Addressing on the occasion, Ajay Solanki, Founder, Ajay’s Café, said, “Independence gives us the freedom to make our own choices, while financial independence gives us the ability to act on those choices. What makes this journey special is that many of our women franchise partners started their first business with us. Today, they are not only running businesses, but also managing teams, creating jobs and making crucial financial decisions. We believe entrepreneurship can give women a greater sense of economic choice, and we are proud to be a part of their journey.”

In cases of women entrepreneurs, this can go a long way in helping ease the difficulties that are encountered when it comes to running a business on one's own. The model will help partners of the franchise to run their businesses and engage their customers through the use of an already tested format of doing business. For such entrepreneurs, running businesses will increase their financial independence, confidence and economic engagement.

The women who are franchisees of this brand have become instrumental in expanding their business, as they help open and operate new outlets in different areas.

For these women, their journeys take on added meaning as India celebrates its Independence Day. Through business creation, earning an income and in some instances creating employment opportunities, the entrepreneurs are not only advancing economically but helping to build nation’s economy.
