The scheme for "CM Ladli Behna Yojana" was started on 25 March 2023 and ended on 30 April 2023 where around 3.6 lakh women have applied for the scheme till the deadline ended on Sunday at 5 p.m.
According to a press note released by the district administration, the most number of applications submitted by women came from the areas under the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) which recorded 2.14 lakh applications. 45,709 applications were received in Berasia's Janpad panchayat followed by 40,279 applications collected from Fanda Janpad panchayat and 5,775 applications from Nagar parishad, Berasia.
Ladli Behna Yojana is a scheme or initiative taken by the government of Madhya Pradesh for the beneficiary of females in the region. Women between 23 to 60 years of age will get Rs. 1000/- from June 2023 directly into their bank accounts. This initiative aims at the development of women and promotes gender equality.
