"Markswomen" title presented to 19 Women SWAT Commandos

In preparation for the upcoming G-20 summit, which will be held in New Delhi, the Delhi Police is providing special training to women commandos who will serve as "Markswomen". As stated by an official, the delegates will be provided the highest level of security as they are providing special training to the women commandos.
So far 19 female SWAT commandos have already completed their one-month program with the Indo-Tibetian Border Police Force in Madya Pradesh. According to the officials, 19 women commandos have been trained by the Indo-Tibetian Border Police (ITBP) in June and July to become "Markswomen", who will serve as frontline security arms and sharpshooters at every G-20 summit event held in Delhi.
On September 9 and 10, 2023, New Delhi will host the G20 Summit. The officials stated that the commandos also received grades for their performances. Constable Kiran took first place with a score of 95 per cent, followed by Constable Vaishali in second place with a score of 77.5 per cent, and Constable Kavita in third place with a score of 75 per cent. The sixth meeting of the Coordination Committee on India's G20 Presidency was presided over by PK Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India. He even urged all the agencies to collaborate in a "Whole of Government" manner to ensure the success of the G20 Summit.
