Actions speak louder than words! Often we hear business leaders talking rainbows and butterflies about business development and how much employees transform the business. The real question one needs to ask here is, are they really choosing the right candidates? Well, even thinking about one perfect candidate among thousands is farfetched. Especially with executive positions, hiring can be more tricky, tedious, and cumbersome.

What are some of your most significant business milestones? What has been the driving force behind your success as a business leader and entrepreneur?

We have been partners to large Multi National Companies for their Walk-in Recruitment Drive, with decent numbers qualifying upto 65% to the offer stage. For few niche roles, we have had just one candidate attend an interview having walked out with the offer letter. Family support clubbed with the privilege of being associated with some renowned brands who have supported me thoroughly have been the driving force all through. Needless to mention, you can consider some factors which have empowered or driven me to the position I am in today, well one is time freedom – As an entrepreneur, theoretically, your time is your own. You can work when you want to! Of course, at least early on, you may end up working 24/7, you’ll have new types of stresses, with the promise of greater rewards, you get to set up your team and define all the roles in your new business, and hire the right people, though there will still be disagreements, but for most entrepreneurs, choosing your own team is worth it. Financial reward is another aspect, Lastly, fame and admiration – As a successful entrepreneur or even one who has tried and failed, you can take pride in striking out on your own and following your own vision. Any or all of these achievements are gratifying and rewarding for the person who started it all-that’s YOU.

How do you strike a balance between your professional and personal life?

Being able to strike a balance between your professional and personal life can help you become more productive and less likely to burn out. And all that it requires is prioritization. This balancing act takes careful planning and preparation, and it is definitely possible.

What would your advice be to young women aspiring to become business leaders and entrepreneurs in the future?

We have sustained the major global recession when we had just initiated UNISOL SERVICES, as well as the recent pandemic, wherein there has never been a dearth of assignments. My advice would be to treat your business like your baby since the struggle is always a part of a new beginning, know your target audience, trust your decisions, keep a clear vision, and be persistent & consistent.
