Top 10 Women In Recruitment - 2022
In a survey conducted by Pew Research Centre, women were ranked better than or equal to men in seven of the eight primary leadership traits. A survey by Mckinsey also revealed that for every 10 percent improvement in gender diversity, there is a 2-4 percent increase in business profits. There have also been some other surveys portraying that the companies under the lead role of women perform better than that of man in lead roles. Even though there is no scientific or psychological explanation for this, surveys showing results favouring women are hopeful.
According to the analysis conducted by a firm called Women In Recruitment, over two-thirds of recruitment firms have more than 50 percent female representation at the staff level and two-fifths have more than 50 percent female representation at the resource level. There is 26 percent of women representation in leadership roles in the HR departments of the companies.
Globally, HR positions are dominated by women, and over the last few years, India is also following the same trend. As a result there is a huge increase in the women in the junior levels. About 15 percent of women are holding the CHRO positions. A study reveals that MNCs are paving better career path for women when compared to Indian enterprises. Recently, women replaced men as HR heads in 60 percent of the companies all over the world.
