Established in 1978, Anna University was named after Late Dr. C. N. Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The legacy educational institution offers higher education in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Applied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society. Not only does it promote research and dissemination of knowledge gained therefrom, but it also aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

The educational institution’s vision is to become a world class institution by shaping professionals that possess high technical knowledge, professional skills and ethical values, and act as a preferred partner to the industry and community for their economic and social development through excellence in teaching, research and consultancy.

In order to celebrate the legacy created by Anna University, the current edition of Women Entrepreneur India magazine shines the spotlight on alumni women leaders from the reputed institution.

Shruthi Lakshmi, Founder, Triverse Technologies is one of the women leaders featured in the magazine’s edition. A professional Architect Shruthi works at the intersection of design learning science and technology and creates content utilizing advanced technologies, such as AR, VR, 2D & 3D games, and simulations, that clients find engaging and empowering for their businesses.

Shruthi’s company specializes in creating interactive content, utilizing advanced technologies, such as AR, VR, 2D & 3D games and simulations, flairs her entrepreneurship to rise higher through her company. As a professional Architect Shruthi works at the intersection of design learning science and technology.

We also showcase the professional journey of Aishwarya Govind, Principal Architect, House of Ruya.

An alumnus of Anna University, wherein Aishwarya completed her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and further acquired her MS in Interior Design from Pratt Institute. In her professional journey so far, Aishwarya has been part of various domestic and international interior design companies such as Michael Kors, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, and WEWORK.

The Principal Architect at House of Ruya, Aishwarya is an accomplished interior designer with a focus on Premium/Luxury Residential and commercial design. With years of professional experience in the industry, Aishwarya is passionate about bringing people and brands together to create meaningful experiences and environments.

Women such as Aishwarya and Shruthi are testaments of the evolution and growth being brought about by women power across India.
