Women Power on the Rise in Asian Business Landscape

It has also been widely acknowledged that women’s equal participation in business, political and public life is beneficial for all. It has also been recognized as a marker for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
Women’s representation in leadership roles globally has seen gradual improvement over the past few decades. However, this growth is a relatively new phenomenon and still has a long way to go. Women have been striving hard to gain increased representation in the workforce and decision-making roles across the globe.
The current edition of Women Entrepreneurs Review magazine celebrates varied women leaders from across Asia. These women leaders have been craving a niche for themselves in their respective fields and forging an inclusive future for Asia.
Gracing the cover is Diyosa Leby A. Kho-Bolalin is the Co-Founder, CEO and CHRO of Focal Point Virtual Group Inc. A leader from Philippines, she specializes in providing administrative support to behavioral health and psychedelic practices. With a focus on innovation, team empowerment, and strategic growth, Diyo has driven significant impact and success in a rapidly evolving industry.
From Kuwait we have Noura a young entrepreneur who founded VEND. At a young age, she was onboarded by Raha to join the founding team. She then founded VEND, a digital transformation platform that connects consumers with businesses.
Next up in Shireen Kapoor, Owner, Ace Law. An Indian origin woman leading in the GCC region, she is a dual-licensed lawyer and barrister in India and Canada, specializing in business immigration, corporate restructuring, energy, and maritime shipping law.
From the field of PR we have Marzie Marzan, a communications expert and CEO, specializing in crisis management, PR, and stakeholder engagement with multi-industry experience. Through her leadership, ALPAS Consultancy has earned a reputation for its forward-thinking approach and ability to navigate complex market dynamics.
Dr Deepti Somayajula, Co-Founder and Head of Internal Affairs at QRC Assurance and Solution is another prolific woman leader from India. Dr. Deepti is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in Research & Development, Operations Management, Accreditations, Trainings, and People Enabler. She is a Lead Auditor specializing in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Information Security Management Systems (ISO/IEC 27001:2022).
Representing the field of media and entertainment we have Diane Zoleta, President, Dayang Media Production. Diane is known for her transformative leadership and creative vision. From humble beginnings, she rose from a booking agent to an industry leader, reshaping media production in Southeast Asia with resilience and innovative strategies.
Last yet certainly not the least wehave Sunita Sharma, Founder and CEO, Young Scholarz. Sunita is a UK-qualified Chartered Accountant and Biochemistry graduate. She transitioned into education with a passion for nurturing academic excellence. As a senior lecturer, award-winning playwright, and lead English teacher, she specializes in preparing students for IB, IGCSE, standardized testing and university admissions. Fluent in multiple languages including French and German, Sunita brings a rich global perspective to her work.
