In 1971, Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar laid the foundations of an educational institution that would go on to become the seat of quality higher education in future. This is how Symbiosis International University came into being. A multi-disciplinary university, Symbiosis offers to its students and faculty a dynamic learning ecosystem designed around its multi-cultural and innovative ethos.
Symbiosis is built on the motto of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakkam" which roughly translates to "World is one Family". A melting pot of various cultures, Symbiosis International University houses over 40,000 Indian and International students and promotes a global understanding through quality education.
By virtue of its global outlook and understanding, Symbiosis has shaped a plethora of successful professionals who have gone on to carve a niche for themselves in the Indian and global business landscape. Some such women leaders have been celebrated in the current edition of Women Entrepreneurs Review.
One such prolific woman leader is Eva Chaudhary currently leading Eye7 Opticals with a commitment to accelerate business growth, cultivating high-performing teams, and leading purpose-driven initiatives. Speaking about the impact created by Symbiosis University on her journey, she says, “Symbiosis taught me the importance of empathetic management and fostering a positive work environment, reflecting how global companies engage their teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations”.
In this month’s magazine edition, we also feature an interaction with Symbiosis University alumna, Vasuki Punj.
