Democratizing Advanced Computing for India’s Digital Future

My vision extends beyond building a successful company—I want to democratize access to advanced computing infrastructure across India’s diverse business landscape. This has profound implications for our digital economy.

First, by making high-performance cloud and AI infrastructure accessible to businesses beyond metropolitan centers, we’re enabling innovation from previously untapped talent pools. When a startup in a tier-2 city can access the same caliber of infrastructure as their counterparts in Bangalore or Mumbai, we create a more level playing field for innovation.

Second, our focus on self-service platforms that simplify deployment reduces both technical and financial barriers to digital transformation. This accelerates technology adoption across sectors, from agriculture to healthcare, allowing more businesses to leverage cloud computing for efficiency and innovation.

Third, I believe strongly in technological self-reliance. By building indigenous cloud infrastructure rather than simply reselling international solutions, we’re contributing to India’s technological sovereignty while creating specialized expertise within our workforce. The technical talent we’re developing today will drive the next wave of innovation in India’s cloud ecosystem.

Finally, our work on open-source technologies creates positive spillover effects throughout the tech community. The knowledge and solutions we develop become part of a larger ecosystem that benefits Indian businesses beyond our direct customer base.

The cumulative impact I hope to create is an acceleration of India’s digital transformation that’s inclusive, accessible, and built on domestically optimized technology foundations.

Building India-Centric Cloud Infrastructure for a Digital Future

We’re addressing a fundamental challenge in India’s digital transformation journey: the need for locally optimized cloud infrastructure that meets our unique market requirements. When we started in 2009, most cloud solutions were designed for Western markets with different connectivity, cost, and compliance landscapes.

We’ve taken an entrepreneurial approach by building our cloud infrastructure from the ground up using open-source technologies. This approach allows us to deliver better performance at lower latency while maintaining compliance with India’s evolving regulatory environment.

Innovation happens when you bridge the gap between technological advancement and real-world challenges so that it translates into tangible, sustainable impact for businesses and the broader economy. For instance, our recognition of data localization trends led us to develop solutions specifically addressing these requirements before they became mainstream concerns. Similarly, we identified the accessibility gap for SMEs and created simplified deployment frameworks that dramatically reduce the technical barriers to cloud adoption.

Rather than following global cloud trends, we’ve focused on building infrastructure that addresses India- specific challenges. This philosophy extends to our GPU-based compute infrastructure for AI applications, where we’re making high-performance computing accessible to Indian businesses that previously couldn’t leverage these technologies due to cost or technical constraints.

Message for Women of India

"Your unique perspective is your superpower in technology. The challenges you’ve navigated give you insight into unaddressed needs and unexplored solutions. Don’t simply aim to succeed within existing frameworks—reimagine them. India’s tech landscape needs your voice, vision, and leadership. Take up space, build with conviction, and lead with authenticity."
