In today’s fast-paced world, women’s health is a matter of concern as it encompasses a spectrum of health inequities propelled by cultural and socioeconomic factors at all stages of life. Several studies show that issues such as malnutrition, reproductive health problems, mental health concerns, and gender-based disparities, often contribute to poor health conditions. Additionally, the dual burden of managing personal and professional responsibilities, often result in women neglecting their healthcare needs for long period of time.

A 2020 nationwide survey in India found that most women experienced menstrual and reproductive issues. Overcoming these challenges require a multi-faceted approach that helps in prioritizing preventive measures ensuring women practice healthier lifestyles and live empowered lives. 

On the occasion of Women’s Day 2025, WER reached out to healthcare experts who shared strategies to enhance and improve quality of life, by undertaking certain health care measures.
