TiE Hyderabad Launches 6th Edition of TiE Women 2025

TiE Hyderabad launched the 6th edition of TiE Women 2025 at PalTech, Near IKEA, Madhapur on Friday evening.  It was launched in the presence of industry leaders, investors, and aspiring women entrepreneurs.  It is a business pitch competition organized at the chapter level in Hyderabad.  Application forms are invited from women entrepreneurs

Applications are now open. To qualify, startups must have a woman founder or co-founder with at least 33 percent equity, be beyond the idea stage, and be no more than seven years old. The application is free of cost.

TiE Women is a global initiative undertaken in collaboration with 60 TiE chapters worldwide, providing mentorship, investor connections, and networking opportunities for women entrepreneurs.

TiE Women is the Global Pitch Competition that brings together winners from each of the TiE Chapters from around the world to a central location. Each chapter selects one winner, that goes to the global finale and up to three runners-up.

The selected chapter winner from Hyderabad as well as other participating chapters will compete at the Global Pitch Competition at the TiE Global Summit (TGS) in Rajasthan in December 2025.

Sri Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, Dept. of IT E&C and Industries, Government of Telangana in a message shared on WhatsApp to the organisers said, "TiE Hyderabad has played a crucial role in shaping the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem of Hyderabad, which is reinforced by the Telangana State Awards for Best Industry Association (Startup Focus) that TiE Hyderabad won in 2023.

TiE Women, an initiative by TiE, has been playing a pivotal role in not only supporting women entrepreneurs but also helping to bring much-needed diversity to our ecosystem Jayesh added. The Government of Telangana is proud to extend its support to TiE Women 2025 where early-stage and early-growth women-led businesses can receive International Mentoring, valuable support for their startup growth and avenues for funding while preparing for the international pitching competition. I encourage all women-led businesses to apply for TiE Women 2025 and wish the team the best.”

This year’s edition introduces key benefits:

●       Shark Tank Style Funding Opportunity – Venture capitalists and investors will fund selected high-potential startups.

●       International Mentoring – Experts will guide participants on product development, scalability, and market access.

●       TGS Finale Sponsorship – Chapter winners will be sponsored to participate in the TGS Finale and TGS Funding Marathon.

●       Stanford Seed Spark Program Sponsorship – The top three startups will receive sponsorship for this prestigious program.

The TiE Women 2025 program is led by Committee Chair Neetika Maheshwari and Co-Chairs Rashida Adenwala, Kiran Chandra Kalluri, Ankit Sanjay Shah, and M V Reddy.
