Karagiri was founded in the year 2017 by Pallavi Mohadikar Patwari, catering in the Retail Industry. Headquartered in Pune, this brand most exclusive collection of sarees, bringing from every nook and corner of the country. The founder was accompanied by her husband, Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Amol Patwari who’s the co-founder of the brand. It specialises in Authentic ethnic women's wear retailer, supporting Indian weaver community while claiming to be the ‘One stop shop for all Indian ethnic wear’.

In addition, Pallavi owns another jewellery brand entitled as ‘Palmonas - India's First Demi Fine Jewelry Brand’, founded most recently in 2022. Being a business enthusiast, she was the founder and CEO of Indofash Ethnic Private Limited. Her career experiences also include Goldman Sachs where she worked as Business Analyst and at Tata Consultancy Services as Assistant System Engineer.
